Morgan Goddess of Interdependence
Morgan pounds boldly into your life to bring your attention to co-dependency.
Do you depend upon others for your self perception? Do you waste your emotional vitality focusing on the problems or needs of others? Have you become co-dependent to the life of another? Are there habits in your life that lean towards addiction? Are there things in your life that you must have, be or do and without them you are nothing?
Morgan commands that you take back your power by releasing all mental and physical dependencies. Attaching your self worth to anything in life is an illusion, it is time to wake from your sleep.
The Goddess says you will wield your own special magic when you march to the beat of your own unique drum rather than the demanding rhythm of others.
Suggested Ritual
Go to a quiet, warm place where you will not be disturbed for about 30-90 minutes. Play soft music if available. Have pen and paper ready.
Sitting with your spine erect take twenty deep calming breaths. Close your eyes and mentally scan your body from the toes to head. Breath into any tensions, tightness or pain until completely relaxed. Continue breathing and raise your hands upward and outward to accept the Universal Energy. Visualize streaming rays of white light radiating down from the heavens into your head, your hands, body and out through your womb.
When you are ready Morgan will visit your imagination. She will ask two questions. Take up the paper and pen and write down your answers.
"Who do you believe controls your thoughts and feelings ... why do you continue to believe it?" and
"Who's thoughts and feelings do you attempt to control ... why do you still do so?"
When you have finished, close your eyes again and immerse yourself once again in the White Light. Send the Light, love and forgiveness to those you have just described.
About The Goddess
In Celtic mythology Morgan le Fey was known as a death and sea goddess, whose name still survives in Brittany where sea sprites are called morgans.
Morgan is reported to have had many names, including Morgan the Fate, Fata Morgana, Morgue la Faye, and is considered to represent the mystical power of women.
Morgan was a shape-shifter, a Moon goddess, and is a patroness of Witches and Priestesses. As a Battle Queen, she is said to have ruled over the war-field with her magic. She has been associated rivers, lakes, fresh water, revenge, night, magic, prophecy, and healing.
Documented as the half-sister of King Arthur, she is symbolic of a woman denied her female emotional expression and female spirituality by patriarchal dominion. Morgan was forced to live a life of isolation and reputedly transformed from a beautiful, generous maiden into a bitter and vengeful old hag when forbidden to participate in her intuitive practises.
