Aphrodite has swept into your life to re-open your heart to love.

The Goddess reminds us that love is the frequency of life, and without it we wither and fade.

Do you actively love yourself and others? Is your love given freely and unconditionally to all, or is it used to control and manipulate? Are you a slave to romantic love or perhaps have misinterpreted money, gifts or sex as love?

Aphrodite teaches us that to be able to love others we must firstly love ourselves. Unconditional love releases all domination, condemnation and expectation of ourselves and others. Loving means to identify the positive, the joy and the beauty in all.

Take the steps now to release fear and illusions from your life to realign with the Universal Energy System - Love.

Suggested Ritual

Go to an uninterrupted place for about one hour. Light a scented candle. Play gentle, peaceful music if available. Close your eyes, breath deeply and relax. Observe your inhale to the count of six heart beats ... hold for three heart beats, and exhale for six. Again hold your breath for three heart beats. Expand the breath to as many heart beats as you can comfortably contain without stress ... keeping the holding breath one half of the inhale/exhale.

With each breath say to yourself, "I love myself" ...

When you have your rhythm sound and have completely relaxed, visualize yourself walking upwards upon the path of a great mountain of sparkling light. See the streaming rays of splashing light exploding into the air around you. Feel the powerful beams enter through the cranium of your head and observe the milky rays of pure love as they pass behind your forehead, your eyes to expand into your whole being..

When you feel filled with the Light, you may notice the tingling of magnetism in your fingertips. At this point you become aware of a female Light form floating in front of you. It is Aphrodite, who greets you silently and with great love. Aphrodite beckons you to lie along side her, and with each breath you witness yourself become lighter and lighter, until you too are a figure of pure love and light.

In your new Light form, you dance and play with Aphrodite for a while, and then together, you fly off to visit and touch all the people in your life. Do not leave them until you have completely immersed them in Love and Light. Give priority to those who require your forgiveness.

When complete, thank the Goddess for her Love and Light and you will see her merge back into the sparkling mountain. You will descend the path once more, to emerge refreshed and strengthened.

Aphrodite (pronounced a-fro-dye'tee), Greek Mother Goddess (Roman name Venus) was the goddess of love, beauty, fertility and the sea.

It is said that she traveled across the Mediterranean when the Greeks colonized Canaan. In the mythology of "Illiad of Homer", Aphrodite intervened in battle to save her son Aeneas from Diomedes, who had been on the verge of killing Aeneas. Instead he attacked the goddess herself, wounding her on the wrist with his spear and causing the Ichor to flow. (Ichor is the immortal blood of the Gods)

Aphrodite (Venus) was commanded by Zeus, to marry Hephaestus, the lame God of smith craft. Even though he bestowed her with gifts of exquisite jewellery, she preferred the passionate lovemaking of Aries, God of War.
